Read the folklore masters. Go to galleries. Walk in the woods. That’s what you need to be an artist or storyteller. – Terri Windling

In this painting depicts how Filipinos celebrate and how they’ll have fun back in the days especially in rural areas, before discos or dance clubs proliferated like mushrooms. Filipinos will gather around during fiestas, on special occasions or simply to have fun; they will dance to the beat of indigenous musical instruments, sing along  with some folk songs and share food. Philippine history and lifestyle showcased through art.
